Open PhD (as Research Assistant) and Postdoctoral Positions

Several PhD (as Research Assistants) and Postdoctoral positions are available with the Distributed Control and Dynamical Systems (DCDS) Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Lehigh University. All candidates with strong backgrounds in mechnical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. Our current research focus are (1) real-time pecerption and planning of team of robots, (2) networked control systems, (3) risk analysis of nonlinear systems.

As employees of Lehigh University, postdocs will receive a competitive salary, travel budget, benefits, and discounts for health insurance.

One of our papers, click here, has won the 2019 SIAG/CST Best SICON Paper Prize. The prize recognizes noteworthy papers published in the SIAM Journal of Control and Optimization (SICON). This prize is given to a paper that has made significant research contributions to the field of Control and Systems Theory and has been published in SICON in one of the three calendar years preceding the year of the award.
